20 Minute Beef and Broccoli

In the time it takes you to cook the rice, you'll have this classic Chinese American dish ready to eat.



Ingredients:

I lb beef, cut into strips

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, minced

2 tablespoons sesame oil

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon honey

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon cornstarch

2 cups broccoli florets

salt to taste

sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

1. Combine the beef, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, sugar, and cornstarch in a bowl and combine thoroughly. Let stand for 5 minutes.

2. In a wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

3. Add in the beef mixture with all the ingredients and cook all the way through.

4. Add in the broccoli and cook for another 5 minutes.

5. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve warm over rice.
